Inherited some stock at age 26 and became fascinated with the workings of financial markets. Studied with the College for Financial Planning and passed the CFP examinations and received the credential in 1986. Worked two years with what is now Smith Barney but have been independent since 1985 and associated with regional broker-dealer Foothill Securities, Inc. of Mountain View, since 1999.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I focus on delivering personalized service. I structure and monitor the client's investment portfolio based on the client's changing needs and objectives, while taking advantage of opportunities presented by market volatliity to the extent possible.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location, no intent to expand.
